Reports circulating online claim that Mike Braun, the Governor of Indiana, is preparing to announce a deal with **Charlie Kirk’s organization, Turning Point USA, that would formally position the group as a partner working with students across the state.

At this time, the claim remains unverified. No official statement, executive order, memorandum of understanding, or directive from the Indiana Governor’s Office or the Indiana Department of Education has been publicly released confirming such an agreement.

Turning Point USA is a private political advocacy organization known for operating campus chapters, hosting political events, and engaging young people around conservative ideology. While TPUSA has an established presence on college campuses nationwide, a formal, statewide partnership involving students—particularly within public education systems—would be highly unusual and subject to legal, ethical, and constitutional scrutiny.

Education policy experts note that any official collaboration between a state government and a partisan organization would need to clearly define scope, funding, participation requirements, and safeguards to prevent politicization of public education. Distinctions would also be required between higher education institutions, where student organizations operate with broad latitude, and K–12 public schools, where state neutrality is more strictly regulated.

The language used in online graphics and commentary—such as “will soon announce”—suggests anticipation rather than confirmation. Without formal documentation, the reports should be treated as political signaling or speculative reporting, not established policy.

Haitian Prime News is monitoring developments and will update this story if official confirmation or documentation becomes available from Indiana state authorities.
