Haiti is in mourning following the passing of legendary Haitian artist Dieudonné Larose, who died on Thursday at the age of 80.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential and gifted voices in Haitian music, Larose leaves behind a powerful artistic legacy that shaped generations and helped define Haiti’s cultural identity. His career spanned decades, marked by exceptional talent, artistic integrity, and an enduring connection to the Haitian people at home and across the diaspora.
