Flight N316AF, operated by Agape Flights, lost contact minutes after departure from Jérémie

A small cargo aircraft identified as N316AF lost contact while flying from Jérémie to Les Cayes in southern Haiti on Thursday afternoon, according to flight-tracking data and shared location records.
The aircraft was first detected near Jérémie at 14:33 EST and last seen near Les Cayes at 14:37 EST, indicating a short flight duration of approximately four minutes. Tracking data classified the flight as a position-only flight, suggesting limited real-time telemetry was available.
The plane was reportedly operated by Agape Flights, a U.S.-based humanitarian aviation organization, and was transporting humanitarian aid from the United States to southern Haiti as part of ongoing relief operations.
According to shared coordinates, the aircraft’s final known signal was recorded in the Zicacque area near Beaumont, at approximately 18.50523° North, 73.92352° West. Later that same afternoon, the aircraft was reportedly found in the Moliné communal section, located in the municipality of Pestel, within Haiti’s Grand’Anse Department.
Haitian authorities have been notified, and investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. At this time, no official casualty report has been released, and details regarding the number of occupants or their condition remain unconfirmed.
